EVANGELIST LORENE HALL
EVANGELIST LORENE HALL was born to the parents of James and Mary Howard, April 12, 1949.
As a teenager, she was often troubled. The societal experience of segregation
waged its ugly head, throughout her early life; while performing work
for her Caucasian employer, she often had to enter the back door of the home,
while the family dog entered the front door.
During her schooling, the
black schools would only receive used materials for study. After high
school, Lorene Hall would apply for work, but discrimination was very
prevalent. She would apply for work and would be told that she was overly
qualified. A Caucasian counterpart would apply and immediately would receive
work.
Lorene Hall receives Jesus
Christ in her life in August 1969. This new experience gave her the peace
and strength to deal with life’s adversities. A peace that surpasses
all understanding is the peace that God gives to believers. An assidu-
ously praying woman of God she reveres her anomalous affinity with the Lord.
Lorene Hall became an evangelist in
the Church of God in Christ in 1996. She is an ardent, yet charismatic orator.
Fervent in her oratorical discourse, and effectual in witnessing, many
broken lives have been amended. She is a sacrosanct in her life for the
Lord. She has left her testimony in states as, New York, New Jersey, Maryland,
Washington DC, North and South Carolina, and Georgia as well as our locale
Virginia. Germany has also experienced the oration of the good news of
Jesus Christ through this evangelist. Exhibiting the gift of prophesy
and the laying on of hands, God is perfecting himself in her for his edification.
My wife, the mother of my seven
children, and seven grand children; she is the apotheosis of motherhood.
The epitome of a mature church constituent, Evangelist Hall has always
been edacious for winning souls for Christ. She maintains a strong prayer
life and is totally committed to the work of the Lord. An author, my friend,
confidant, I do commend her on this extraordinary literary piece that
by reading this book, hearts may be encouraged, minds changed to God’s
glory, and souls delivered from imprisonment, knowing that there is hope
for us in the present world through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Not the ‘run of the mill’
author or writer, Lorene Hall through dreams and visions, is divinely
bequeathed with adeptness to compose such a literary piece such as this.
This sole purpose being that God is yet in the miracle working business.
